Our company was approached by the committee of Buderim Pony Club who had received a grant to upgrade their facilities with a new arena.
The site where Buderim Pony Club is located is low-lying and has been subject to numerous floods over the years. Whilst never being able to prevent a flood, the client wanted to build arenas that would drain well during rain events.
We thoroughly analysed the site and developed a plan to suit the client’s needs.
The team was then able to construct two brand new Olympic-sized arenas, to allow the club to host more riders and run multiple rings during events. Due to the low-lying nature of the property, we implemented several solutions to mitigate water to the area and to encourage water to drain quickly off the arena during rain events. We finished both arenas in black painted steel fencing to provide safety and security for riders.
Buderim Pony Club now has two new arenas, built to the highest quality. Since the build in 2024, we have received much feedback from members and visiting riders for clinics, stating the arenas are amazing and the surface is a pleasure to ride on. The club now has state-of-the-art riding facilities that they can enjoy and also host visiting riders and events.
Comprehensive Equine successfully helped Buderim Pony Club use their grant money by building high-quality, safe equestrian arenas. Buderim Pony Club and it’s members were extremely happy with their new riding arenas.
